REVIEW: We have come to the end of our test of the football hedging system and here are the final results: Profit/loss: +387 pips Impact Speed: 87% Rost Bank 193% Price: From £1,297 + £201 per month for a gold package* ROI: 6.3% Average number of bids: 1 per day THE VERDICT: COMPLETED Rating: Football Hedging System-Full Review The Football Hedging system is a much-discussed set of football trading systems run by Tony Langley. The gambling community has shown a lot of interest in the Football Hedging System, and it seems to have sparked some heated debate, although overall most of the comments have been positive. Membership is now closed – we understand this forever – so doing a review now may be a bit of a moot point, but we decided to do it anyway for the sake of completeness and just in case it reopens at some point in the future. Results We’ve been testing the systems for six months, so what did we think? Well, on the whole, our views are very positive. The systems developed by Tony clearly work, and if you followed his deals, you would do it very well. We earned 387 points of profit from Tony’s next trades, which represented almost 200% growth in the bank and goes great in any book. And part of that was in the calmer summer months, so there’s potential to do even better. So this is a clear passed rating for a football hedging system, but there are some issues with it that we want to address below. How Does it Work? First, you may be wondering how it works. Well, after registering, you get access to the FHS member area, where there are many tutorials and videos explaining each of the systems. You will also receive a hard copy of the systems manual by mail. All of these systems include trading on Betfair and have video examples of trades to show you how to work with these systems. As a member, you also receive Tony’s emails, which provide live updates of the games he trades, with instructions and screenshots. During our trial, there were five systems for trading, although most trades are focused on two of them. Please note that these systems are very complex! Yes, even experienced traders can take quite a long time to learn how to trade these systems, and it takes a lot of practice to use them properly. Tony advises trading securities until you master them, which is reasonable advice. Recovery The point of these systems is that they are designed in such a way that you should never lose a trade, because there is a “recovery” process that you can follow to get yourself out of trouble if a trade goes wrong. Now the recovery is complex and includes support for a variety of different things at the same time. You need to be able to calculate how much to bet on each individual bet, and do it quickly. This can be very difficult! I used Bet Angel to help with this, which has a great hedging tool to determine the amount needed to cover a given liability, and it certainly helped. In our experience, recovery “works ” as such, if you have time to turn it on before you score another goal. But here’s the rub. In some cases, you will not be able to do this, and therefore you may lose a significant portion of your share in this case. Let’s say one of the trades involves using the unders markets. If there is a rush of goals – and anyone who has traded football matches for any length of time will know that this can definitely happen – you may not have time to start trading and you will simply be left with a lost bet. The same thing can happen if you trade by supporting one team and the other team scores two or three quick goals. Thus, the systems are not completely reliable. This should be recognized if you subscribe to a Football Hedging System. There is nothing we have ever encountered (other than matching bets, of course) that can guarantee you a profit, no matter what happens. If that were the case, we’d be millionaires and probably wouldn’t be running this site, but would be in the Bahamas serving cocktails to beautiful young ladies instead! So please don’t think that this guarantees you a win 100% of the time. There was also one occasion when we traded papers in one match, and there was an incredible first half, with the score 4-2 at half-time. We asked Tony how we were supposed to trade during that half, and he admitted that it wasn’t really possible in this case. The first half, which ended 4-2 , is an extremely rare occurrence, so we should not focus too much on this game. Another problem with recovery, however, is that often you need a high multiple of your bet to make it work, especially when there are two or more goals against you. So if, for example, you started with a total bet amount of 100 pounds, the recovery may require up to 1000 pounds to make it work. This is fine if it really works, but obviously somewhat limits the kind of bets you can make. The issue of recovery was resolved with the introduction of a stop loss, which is discussed below. Tony’s deals However, having said all this about the recovery process, it’s worth noting that even if you didn’t use the recovery process, but just traded, if everything went against you and you lost 50% of the stake, here are the results of Tony’s trades from the moment he started: Total transactions 314 Full Extraction 32 Total Successful Transactions 282 Impact Speed 89.8% Using only 300 pounds, the bank made a net profit of 938.93 pounds, which is a 308.6% growth of the bank without compounding. So even without recovery, just following Tony’s deals would have done very well. This shows how well Tony is able to match the criteria for his systems. Stop Loss Perhaps in response to concerns about problems with the recovery process, Tony recently added a few new methods that include placing “stop losses”, so that even if everything goes against you, you have trades that insure you against too much loss. They are certainly a welcome addition and do add some significant protection. However, they still need you to trade quickly when something happens in the game, so there is the same risk that multiple goals will affect you. But the amount of risk is less, which is good. price The price of a football hedge system is exceptionally high compared to the vast majority of tipsters and betting systems we’ve reviewed here, -1297 pounds for the cheapest package, plus 201 pounds a month for Tony’s tips and emails. So, the question is, is this cost justified? Well, it will depend to a certain extent on how big your bid is, as this will determine how long it will take to win back the subscription price. In the long run, you should return even at a relatively modest rate, but it can take up to a year or longer. In our opinion, the cost of the system is too high in relation to everything else on the market and should be lower. However, the cost hasn’t stopped a large number of people signing up, so it’s obvious that people are willing to pay significant fees to access the system. And, of course, there is always the possibility of a refund if you follow the rules set out in relation to the refund in their terms and conditions. THE OVERALL VERDICT: ACCEPTED The football hedging system is a set of systems for trading in the football markets on Betfair. During our trial, we earned 387 points of profit from the following trades and almost tripled our pot, with almost 90% of the trades being successful. These are excellent results by any standard. It has been argued that using the systems means you “can’t lose” because they involve a recovery process that allows you to at least get out of the deal, even if it goes against you. We don’t think this is entirely true, because if there are goals scored before you can complete all aspects of the deal, then you will lose money. Also, during the trial, there was a match in which the recovery process did not work. So, in our opinion, this process is not completely reliable – you can still lose with it. However, even without the recovery process, just following Tony’s trades and accepting a 50% bet loss when the trade goes against you, you would still get over 300% pot growth, so obviously there is a lot of value in the systems, and Tony has a great skill at matching matches. Ultimately, there are a number of approaches to winning football bets, and the Football Hedging System has identified several unique ones. Overall, in our view, it’s about whether you can stomach the high costs of joining and be willing to wait potentially up to a year to get those costs back, as well as put a lot of work into learning about the systems. If you are willing to do such things, then it is highly recommended to use a Football Hedging System. Football Hedging System-Closing September 6, 2016 Just a quick note to say that the Football Hedge System is closing its doors – apparently for good-on Sunday, September 11. So, if you are interested, now is the time to register. We have been engaged in paper trading with new stop loss methods for most of July and August and will return to our final review and comments shortly. But at the same time, you can see below that the results were pretty decent during the trial period, and if you are serious about your trading and can devote time to making it work, then the football hedge system is a strong package of trading methods. Football Hedging System-Results Update July 1, 2016 More positive progress for the football Hedge System since our last update. We added another 123 points of profit over the last month to get 387 points of profit for the entire trial as a whole. I mentioned earlier that I am looking for a bot for automated trading systems. Although I didn’t quite succeed, I started using Bet Angel to hedge the correct results right away, we save a lot of time and mess with the calculator. Interestingly, Tony responded to one of the criticisms of the system – that if something goes against you in a match, you need to keep adding huge amounts of bets to manage the recovery-by introducing a new “stop loss”method. This basically sets up the situation so that there is no need to do this, and makes the potential pot needed for trading much more manageable. I’m still getting used to this new stop loss system, but if it works as well as Tony suggests, then it will be a good improvement and really bring the football hedging system to the top rating from us. One other thing to mention – although the system is now closed to new members, we understand that Tony is considering allowing a small number of new members at the start of the next football season – so watch this space as if… Football Hedging System-Results Update May 29, 2016 The situation with the football hedging system continues to develop well, and since our last update, it has added another 63 points of profit. This means that at the moment we have 264 points of profit and are moving very well. What’s interesting is that a few days ago, Tony sent an email showing the results since the launch of the service, if you didn’t even use the recovery process, but just traded if something went against you and you lost 50% of the share. The results were as follows: Total transactions 314 Full Extraction 32 Total Successful Transactions 282 Impact Speed 89.8% Using only 300 pounds, the bank made a net profit of 938.93 pounds, which is a 308.6% growth of the bank without compounding. So impressive is the material showing that even if you haven’t managed to fully master the recovery process, you can still work very well with the football hedging system. However, of course, you should try to master this process, as it will increase profits and will mean that you break even in those trades that go wrong, and not lose. We’ll be back soon with more updates. Football Hedging System-Results Update May 4, 2016 It was a quiet time for the football hedge system, as Tony was on holiday for a few weeks, so we haven’t had any deals since April 13. However, up to this point, I have added another 20 points of profit since our last update to still remain at 201 points of profit for the trial version. My recovery results were not as good as Tony’s, as I am still training and learning, so for example, at the Roma-Bologna match, I made a scratch deal where Tony made a profit of 18%. Now it tends to attach screenshots to show its positions, which is reassuring as you can see that it can be done. My results also don’t include a number of variations of method five that occur spontaneously during matches, so if you’re not sitting at the computer when it happens, you’ll miss them – as I did. However, here are Tony’s results for these Five Selection Methods: April 5-East Bengal to Mumbai ? April 6-Stallion v Global-profit 9.59% April 9-Southampton vs Newcastle-5.33% profit April 10-Nice vs Rennes-profit 6.5% We didn’t get details about the profit generated from the East Bengal vs Mumbai game, but the rest would have added another 21.42% profit. Our comments remain almost the same as last time – we see the power of the system, but we think that the bot will help a lot in automating things. I’ll be back soon with our next update – Tony is due back from vacation next Monday (May 9), so we should get back to trading again. In addition, it should be noted that the Football Hedge System is currently closed to new members, but we understand that they may consider opening their doors again when Tony returns. Observe this space, as they say… Football Hedging System-Results Update April 4, 2016 For Tony Langley’s football hedge system, things have continued in a very positive way. Since our last update, we have added another 40 points of profit to get 180 points higher for the trial version in a month. Now we had a chance to start the recovery, as the trade went against us in the Ascoli-Vicenza game. At first it’s a bit of a panic when something happens and you’re trying to get all the bets at the right rates quickly-this is definitely something you need to practice quite a bit to get right. I didn’t quite get it right and made a small loss on the deal, but looking through Tony’s screenshots, I can see that you could even get out on the deal. I really think this system would really benefit from a bot to automate recovery – then I think you’d have the perfect money-making machine. So any budding bot makers out there are … please contact us! Anyway, I also missed out on a deal for the Switzerland-Ireland match, which would have required reinstatement. This was ” advanced method number two”, so he wasn’t ready for it yet. Also, there were a few methodical fives that I missed as they appear during games, so it depends on whether you’re at your computer when Tony sends an opportunity so you can do them. Overall I’ve been impressed with this so far, the strike rate is as high as promised, and I see the logic in the recovery. It’s just a matter of practicing recovery until it becomes more or less automatic. Tony has kindly provided some videos of the recovery in action recently, so it helps the learning process. I’ll be back soon with new updates on the football hedging system, hopefully when I have a full recovery! Football Hedging System-Results Update March 21, 2016 This has been a great start to our trial of the football hedging system, and all trades have been successful since we started two weeks ago. This means that our profit has already exceeded 140 points. So, in terms of the success of the system, everything is certainly consistent with the sales claims so far. However, the real test of this system is when something goes wrong and you have to run what is called a “recovery” to get back what you risked. Right now, we haven’t had a chance to do recovery yet, but after looking at the examples and practicing a couple of times, it seems like a logical method and, as far as we can see, it should work. However, it’s difficult – especially if there are a lot of quick goals in a row – so we’re still trying to deal with it. But so far, so good for the football hedging system. I’ll be back soon – hopefully when we’re done with the live “recovery”! Football Hedging System – New Review March 9, 2016 Currently, there is a real buzz around the new football trading system that has recently appeared on the Internet. Tony Langley called it a “Football Hedge System,” and I’m not sure I can recall the same excitement about the new system. When you see the sales page, you can probably understand the excitement. He makes some extraordinary claims, headlined by the line that he has earned over £ 230,000 full-time over the past few years using the system. Even more surprising is the statement that since June 2015, there has not been a single loss-making transaction! Apparently, the system has developed a method of trading football matches on Betfair in such a way that you can’t lose. Well, if that’s the case, then I think it’s probably a “holy grail ” bet.” Presumably, you can earn between 9,000 and 12,000 pounds a month by trading the system, winning 90% of your trades, and in the worst case, breaking even on the remaining 10%. Now with such claims, the system is not cheap. The cheapest package is the “Gold” option, which comes with a down payment of £ 1,297, followed by a monthly subscription of £ 201 per month, which includes support and trading opportunities for Tony. Next comes the Platinum Package, which costs £ 1,597 up front, followed by a monthly subscription of £ 121. Finally, there’s the Diamond Package of £ 2,597, which includes lifetime support and 28 weeks of selection. However, there is a risk-free 145-day trial of the service. To qualify for a refund of your money, you had to trade at least 30% of Tony’s trades, log them, and not achieve at least 30% growth in your pot per month. Now, thankfully, Tony has been kind enough to provide me with a copy of the Football Hedge and Selection System for three months so that I can test the system, which is a good sign that he has confidence in the system. When I first encountered this system, I must say that I was suspicious, as I had seen similar wild claims made earlier by other systems over the years, which unfortunately did not turn out to be true. However, there are quite a few people who say it actually works, which is interesting. As always, only time will tell under the live challenge. I’ll be back soon with an update on how things are going with the system, hopefully I have a head around this, as from what I’ve seen so far, it’s very complicated.
